The following project is the result of my work as a designer at Guido de Groot Design.
Due for completion in Q2 2028, the 48-metre "Project ZEN" (Yard no. WV0149) is Van der Valk’s most ambitious custom build to date and the largest.
Created in aluminium on an entirely new design platform, the highly efficient hull shape supports smaller engines and an impressive range in excess of 4,400 nm at 10 knots. An excellent performance underway will be assured by a fast displacement hull form and aft-mounted Hull Vane.
